Welcome Weekend

Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September 2025

Whether you will be moving into halls, commuting or living in Oxford, there will be welcome events and support services available at the Headington Campus. The weekend offers a good opportunity to get to know other students, prepare for Induction Week and find out more about what Oxford Brookes University has to offer.

The Student Induction Team will be available on campus and remotely to offer support and advice.

Will you be living in a University hall of residence? Check the Accommodation page on moving in for more information on arriving, parking and collecting your keys, plus who to contact if you have any questions. If you are still deciding on your accommodation, you can read more about how to apply for halls of residence here.

Some halls of residence and Oxford Brookes houses have contracts which start earlier than Welcome Weekend. You can choose the move-in date which works for you as long as it falls within your contract.

 Road closure

A portion of Botley Road will be closed until autumn 2026, impacting the 400/U1 bus route. You can read more on the Oxford Bus Company website.
