Oxford, a city celebrated for its vibrant cycling culture and historic charm, has recently found itself at the heart of a significant discussion surrounding Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs).
Researchers, academics, professional support colleagues and students provide a diverse programme of events, activities and festivals. This programme also includes online resources including podcasts, teaching materials and short films.
Through these activities we aim to communicate the work of the University to a wide range of publics in a mutually beneficial two-way process. By inspiring, informing, listening and discussing together we hope to shape the futures of our local and regional communities as well as our University.
The purpose of the REF is for the UK higher education funding bodies to secure the continuation of a world-class, dynamic and responsive research base within UK higher education.
The REF is a process of expert review, carried out by expert panels for each of the 34 subject-based units of assessment (UOAs), under the guidance of four main panels. Expert panels are made up of senior academics, international members, and research users.
