Role
As programme lead for Childrens and Mental health nursing Emma has responsibility for the quality of all of the pre-registration Children’s nursing and Mental Health nursing programmes. (BSc and MSc)
Emma qualified as a registered children’s nurse from Oxford Brookes University in 1997 and worked in practice until 2013, in children’s orthopeadics, general surgery, rheumatology research and as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Children’s Rheumatology. Emma began working in Nurse Education at Oxford Brookes in 2007 as a lecturer in the Children’s nursing team. Since then she has had a variety of roles including Senior Lecturer, Placement Lead and Subject coordinator.

She is a dissertation supervisor. She is also a Link Lecturer supporting students in practice.
